At the November 4, a celebration of victory in the First World War and Armed Forces Day, the Young Italy Monza and Brianza asks one, ten, hundred cities' for their country.
"In a day of serious national unity on the eve of the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy, the youth movement of the PDL, the Young Italy - says Rosario Mancino, president of the provincial youth movement - wanted temporarily change the words on this city for the peace sign at the entrance of some common Brianza, with the city for the country to remind citizens of the current love of country, a real value for many of our countrymen who fell during the first war world, helping to victory on 4 November 1918.
Peace, in our opinion, is not a slogan, not is a flag, not a symbol of this or that political party, but is to have the courage to defend what you love every day. From here the true solidarity, subsidiarity and respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms.
The "real" peace is built with concrete facts, such as the daily commitment of our soldiers in places of high risk, in defense of victims of violence and crushed by the constant fear of terrorist attacks. With this action we want to reiterate the funny all this, rejecting the supposed opposition between "Cities for Peace" and other cities not sympathetic to this goal by simply the lack of a "cartel".
Italy is a country deeply supportive and always willing to help those in need, as evidenced every day with its military deployed around the world to defend freedom and peace.
